Airsoft International magazine in Canada

Being a transplanted Canuck, I'm obviously keen to help ensure that my fellow countrymen and women get their recommended monthly dose of airsoft goodness. I also want to make sure that the rest of the world gets to learn about great Canadian airsofters as well.

So we're looking for your contributions in the forms of:
* team profiles
* site reviews
* event reports
we'll even pay you for your content!

We also want to ensure that you can get your hands on a copy of the mag - so if you're a retailer who'd like to stock Ai then drop me a note (we also have some great advertising offers available at the moment too).

Let's Go Canada! :)

Hi again.

Subs: We don't yet have set amounts in local currencies for subscribers outside of the UK. When we have our North American edition up and running later this year (i.e., printed and fulfilled in North America) we'll probably have a US and CDN $ cover price and subscription rate.

At the moment, you'll just have to pay whatever the current exchange rate value is - you can pay through PayPal (paul@ai-mag.com) or you can call the office number listed in the magazine and pay with your credit card.

Covers: We've just done a deal with Tom Weber (internationally renowned military photographer) to supply us with some shots for the front covers and also a double-page spread centrefold. You can see some of Tom's work at his website: www.milpictures.com

We are running a competition in the US right now:
To show Airsoft International's commitment to our US circulation we have teamed up with Airsoft Extreme to offer one lucky reader the opportunity of a life time.

Send in your individual or team action photographs to us and the best picture will appear on the next available front cover of Ai, plus the winner will receive a voucher worth $600.00 to spend in store with Airsoft Extreme.

The rules are simple you must own the copyright to the submitted picture and supply a raw JPEG The picture must be an action shot on the skirmish field and not a Guns and girls type posed photograph.

But we don't yet have a Canadian retailer who'll support us with such a competition north of the border.

What do you think we're overseas fighting for, man? Pinups have been around for a long time.

Even if I'm reading UK-related material, I'd love to get my hands on a few issues of AI asap!

Good question, and also our sentiments. Airsoft International does not include "girls-with-guns" nude or even semi-nude pin-ups.

The photography of Tom Weber that we'll be featuring are his military photos.

As for where the magazine is available; check your local Borders or Barnes and Noble (if you have one) and also your airsoft retailers. Let us know if they don't stock it (and give us their address and contact details) and we'll work on them.

Also, you can give this reference number to any newsagent and they can order the magazine for you:
