Shopping in Kyoto?
 

Well heres how its going down. My mother is going to Japan and will be in Kyoto. I was wondering where in Kyoto can you buy airsoft stuff.

Also what would be the best thing to buy from Japan that won't be any trouble to bring back?

Really, really inconspicuous stuff. Mostly internal upgrade parts, I'd say. Stuff that I wouldn't trust my own mother to be able to pick out....

To avoid any trouble at all? Including your mother having to go through hell when returning? Buying from a Canadian Retailer would be the safest thing to do (and since your own mother is involved, the smartest thing to do).

I know it's probably not what you want to hear, but why would you put your own mother at risk???

Edit; yes, a few parts maybe, like springs and gears, but those you can get in Canada anyway. Customs has been known to go nuts over stranger things. Being accused of smuggling is not a trivial charge; personal luggage is well scanned.

hmm contrary to popluar belief, a true geisha isn't a whore at all, more like a high-classed form of female entertainment. minus the nakedness.

i'd suggest picking up any Japanese entertainment, such as music, anime or anything else you can't get here. You most likely won't get boned in the rear on cost if it's from Japan, and if you like that stuff.

Try to get a multilingual MP3 player, or Portable Media Player, the ones over there are quite advanced and nice.

Except for the missing nudity it sounds like the perfect reason to get one. Now fitting her into your mom's luggage might be a real problem.

Yeah, they're generally meant to entertain, and keep the flow of the evening/meeting moving. Sometimes they tell stories, serve saki and food, and do short traditional dances and such. Anything sexual should it occur is very rare, and done for very special clients. They're still pretty hot though. ;)

I've seen some documentaries about modern geisha...lets just say its skills not good looks that makes a geisha a geisha, good looks help and so most of them are at least fairly good looking but some of them, eek.

If you're looking for airsoft stuff, then there's quite a few shops in/around Kyoto, it all depends on what style of play. There are shops that specialize ONLY in guns that fire over 400fps and shops that specialize ONLY in guns that shoot under 400fps.

Other than that, check out a Tokyu Department store and look in/around the toy section to find TONS of TM springers of all shapes and sizes (hahaha, in Japan, springers are considered toys, what are they considered here... PROHIBITED WEAPONS... WTF?)

Well the thing is i'm not going and my mother wont be in Tokyo. But it seems like im not going to get anything for airsoft from Japan
