well i do not think it is a Blackhawk vest at all. compaire these pics. yours has 6 molle strap things Black hawk has 4 1/2 across the top of the rig. all so the black buttons on your vest are father apart then the Black hawk ones are. I think its a nock off. gess the company got your money. :P

whatever your vest is its beautiful

It might be the 'Husky' version of the BHI rig you meant to order. Either that or a replica.

That isn't the point. The point is that he did not get what he payed for. Expecially since he paid for something worth much more than he recieved.

I would say that it is indeed a knock-off of the BHI piece. I'm no lawyer, but I would say that seeing as you've had it for over a year since you ourchased it, I would say that you're shit out of luck.

Any manufacuter's labels on it anywhere? That's another starting point.

The Husky version is more expensive than the regular Commando Recon Chest Harness. That's what he has(HUSKY) from the pics he's showing. There should be a huge BLACKHAWK trademark in the back of the front rig if you want to see if it's a real one or not.

i put the pic of the inside with the Blackhawk!

baraccuda February 18th, 2007 23:21

It is the recon commando, just the husky version.

You got what you ordered dude, frankly it also fits you quite well.

Hey buddy, I have the one in that picture that you ordered - do you want to trade? I can certify that it's Blackhawk! Just helping you manage expectations!

Don't listen to Yuxi - it looks AWFUL on you. You should trade with me...

thx for the help, the thing that is weird is that i cant find any pic of my vest, THX for the offers but i will stick with it , have a little project in mind,,, add a back panel and blackwater sideplate carriers and cover the sholder strap with a wider piece of cordura folded in half, (circa wanttobe)but with the option to thin down to only the chest harness

Go to WGC and look in the Combat Gear section. They still have the BHI Husky for sale and you can see that it matches your vest.
