I assume since you have been here since Jul 2006 you know the laws on importing and you are going to get this through a Canadian retailer.

As for reviews:

Daes March 7th, 2007 13:03

Nah, just google, not much for reviews out there on it, but the other versions seem to be well recieved.

thanks,i like the realism of the bolt throw back system on the jet custom when it fires a bb:)

ancorp March 7th, 2007 14:26

I myself would like to hear about the G&G AK-47. I really like the realistic gas system, just like on their 103/104, and the fact that its full metal and wood already.

The more expensive one is a Tokyo Marui AK-47, with a Guarder AKM kit on it, and autoback bolt.

Cheers,
Alex

Double Tapper March 7th, 2007 14:31

are they the ones with a hose going in the grip?

Coma March 7th, 2007 14:51

I definatly like the looks of the AKM styled one. However, as realistic as it may be the bolt kit isn't that impressive from what I've seen. Its sluggish, and looks a bit cheesy when firing on full auto. Check out the videos of it on YouTube.

The G&G one is nice as well. Good to see that someone is including the side scope mount on a stock classic '47.

Double Tapper March 7th, 2007 15:02

i saw the vid,i see what you mean though, sounded like a good idea:(

Coma March 7th, 2007 15:04

It definatly does SEEM a good idea. The one thing I forgot the mention is that it compromises the mechbox as well, because they have to cut a peice out from the shell. There is an operating rod that attaches right to the internals. I looked into this a while ago when one came up for cheap on the forums.

No, they are both electrics (AEGs.). The autoback bolt, combined with a hard recoiling piston, actually looks quite good to me.

Heres a video - thats also a TM AK-47, but with a Inokatsu (suspected to be Guarder copies) AK-47 kit.

I dunno man, even with the extra-hard recoiling piston its not that great. It moves very little, and did you notice that when he was firing it on automatic the bolt did not close all the way sometimes?

On the other hand, those Inokatsu kits are pure beauty.

ancorp March 7th, 2007 19:38

Well yes, it would be damn nice if it would move more than an inch. IMO, still better than nothing. I cant wait for the Tanio Koba gas blowback AK.

The reason the bolt didnt return to battery on the last shot, was because almost all AEGs stop cycling when you pull the trigger, so if the piston is being moved back and you let go of the trigger, it just stops, and thus the autoback bolt connected to it. Good indicator that you need to fire off a couple shots in semi auto to decompress the spring.

Cheers,
Alex

Double Tapper March 7th, 2007 19:49

that sounds good, protects your spring(s) from unnecessary compression.
so it is a good bad thing then:confused:

Drool, GBB AK.....

DT, in the end it is up to you. There are some aspects in looks you can go for, against the possible compromising of your mechbox. I personally didn't want any more holes than entirely nessesary in mine, especially if I'm going to upgrade.
