Barrel Wobble possible Solution?

I've been looking at the barrel on my m16 and was thingink about spot welding. Would it be a good idea to weld piece MA-16 to piece MA-17? The pieces are the one just after the receiver and the long straight section before the front sight.

no it wouldn't you can't weld the pot metal it will just spatter and not take a weld, use JB weld

I just used those pipe clamps but now I use those LED mounts that clamp onto the barrel but i clamp it onto the inside. I used teflon tape first

Better solutions are available in the Doc's section:

There are reasons why JB weld and and Epoxy are not the prefered solutions.
It's cheaper than getting a one piece outer barrel and metal body and works very well.
