Camera + boredom = boredom with a camera (gear pics)

Yeah, I needed a break from housework and thought I'd see how the gear would all go together. My roomate was home and figured hey why not? Now I have some pics :)

I can't help it... :'( I didn't have an airsoft gun for the pics and I was so desperate that I asked my roomate if I could borrow his pellet gun.... There is no place for me in this world anymore...

Heh thanks :)

That's just a plate carrier I've been working on in my spare time outside of work. I needed something quick to get me back on the airsoft radar before the warm weather goes away (albeit Edmonton weather hasn't exactly been the warmest of late), as opposed to sitting down and doing something any more complicated, like a vest. I'm happy with it so far and all I have to do is just finish off the side panels.

I put my body armor on underneath it just to even things out :)

Setup looks really complete! Just need pouches, mags, and.. oh! and a ASG! :p

Interesting knee/shin pads. Are those custom made? Hockey/sports pads?
Do share.

Chubby June 27th, 2007 05:41

Yep, custom made, for me and by me :) I was gonna go with the Centurion ones but figured I could save a buck by making my own. But what you gain in $$'s, you lose in time.

Looks like time well spent so far. Very excellent work on that carrier. Reminds me of some very excellent mp5 mag holders I remember seeing a while ago. You should get some pics of those going too. :)

Hair plugs?

;)

Photoshop out the background and put yourself in a situation, or at least put some bullet holes in the wall and TV :D

Chubby June 28th, 2007 18:51

Heh yeah I think the days of having long flowing locks are long past. Ah well... I guess this is what I get for all the years of making fun of my guidance councellor's hair loss when I was back in high school :P

But hey if anyone wants to, I certainly wouldn't object to anyone photoshopping in some hair :)
