SR-25 vest

Hey all :)

I'm in the market for a vest to go with my uniform. I'll be carrying a SR-25 so i'm not to sure what kind of vest will let me stick mags in it. I'll be using mostly CA SR-25 150 mags and maybe one or two high cap (altho i'm not to fund of them).

Any idea's?

Anything designed for 7.62mm rounds... They're pretty much the same size as M14 mags. Some pouches designed to hold 2x5.56mm mags, i.e. Eagle's vests and UTV, will hold a single M14/SR25 mag.

BHI 7.62 Rifleman's rig. Excellent piece of kit.

Phantom dual M14 mag pouches will NOT hold two SR-25 mags (their ever so slightly bigger than M14 mags), was told the Eagle ones do.

Yeah, plus it doesn't really matter since importing a vest is legal.

Unless it has ceramic plates, and the like... Apparently CBSA doesn't like that stuff too much from what I hear.

I was told its US customs that banns the export of them, not CBSA stopping the import of them. Just like how all levels of night vision are fine in Canada but there are laws expressly prohibiting their export in the states.

Hehe, beacause they wage war based on the fact that the bad guys don't have NVGs.

Canadian custom regulations sux anyway.

Cassius July 16th, 2007 23:07

General, if we let those NVGs go out we're doomed!!!

Oh my god! Put me through with the USPS!
