Compare and Contrast

I was browsing at some air soft sniper rifles, and i came across two identical ones but with with very different prices. why is this? And, out of all the sniper rifles i posted below, which do you recommend to purchase?

For the L96A1 series,

(SKU# 11021)

OR

AND

For the VSR-10

(SKU# 11036)

OR

Thanks for your opinions!!

they aren't identical if you look the buy airsoft rifles are CLONES, you get what you pay for and don't waste your time buying a sniper rifle as your first weapon purchase an AEG.

I have purchased a lot of stuff from Ken at 007, you can't go wrong with dealing with him

i find that the VSR series don't have a good heft to it and it feels rather "toyish" in comparison to the Maruzen L96

A Jayhad so nicely stated: do not buy a sniper as your first airsoft gun. Go for an aeg, you will have alot more fun if you do. Sniper rifles really put a limit on what you can do during a game.

More importantly, the main advantage of sniper rifles is that they can be upgraded to shoot over 400fps. However, here in Ontario, many games won't let people field guns that hot unless they know the individual knows how to use it safely. Since you're completely new to airsoft, it's quite possible that event organizers won't let you use a rifle that's too hot.

Since you're new to airsoft, why in the hell do you want to be a sniper? It's the crappiest position out there.

On the one website i showed you, there is a company that makes exact marui clones that shoot faster and is way cheaper. should i get this or no ?

This is an example of what i mean. will this perform as well as this company says it will, or should i just stick to the Marui rifles?

can i make an AEG rifle perform the same as an airsoft sniper rifle?

The Saint July 17th, 2007 10:14

I think you should read the reviews and discussions on that gun like we've suggested and decide for yourself. Using the board's search function and developing your research skills are the best way to gain social acceptance on this forum.

Yes, one such sniper rifle IS an AEG.

Again I ask, why do you want to be a sniper?

...must be too much counter-strike....

These "Clones" are "Jing Gong" airsoft guns.....called "JG"...

They are good yes and have good quality....but like everyone said, don't buy a sniper rifle for your first airsoft weapon.

Exept if it's like me at first, only for chair shooting, wich means you only gonna shoot it in your backyard at your home...

Well if it's for shooting at home, and to get the more precision as you can, well go buy a pellet rifle...Youl get way more precision and you will get a much more realistic shooting effect.

If you plan to play in real games then buy an airsoft but like i said, most of normal aeg's can be even more powerfull than a sniper...

You can start with an M4 or an M4 S-System and make it look like a sniper then upgrade the internals...The possibilities are huge....

Just look at the "www.airsoftgi.com" gun on their homepage :

perfect example of a sweet looking sniper @ aeg...

Hope it will help.
