BDU and all the options @_@
CRYE Multicam
ACU CADPAT Just can't decide... also how come is the CRYE Multicam so expensive? It's around $300 for the top and bottom >_> Can anyone recommend any brands for the ACU and CADPAT? Thx :) I'm thinking of buying at: sealsactiongear.com Anyone used them before? Good quality? |
I used Seals from time to time. I am very satisfied with quality and service, price is not so hot however.

Ooh ooh I love this question
okok Multicam I would get Krukspec I hear good things about it all the time. CRYE Multicam I looked into it you have to be millitary or law enforcement to get it and it takes a hell of a long time to get. |
I own the Seals Crye multicam set, I think for the cost you can get a way better cut of coat/jacket then seals sales. It is also such a heavy weight that it cooks me under the CIRAS. the pants are awesome and cut very well. I am currently looking to sell my coat and purchase the version my team is wearing made by TRU-SPEC

Also, i just can't decide on what size to get lol I'm 5'10", thin (think french person :P) Sizes are usualy Small, Medium, Large, XL, XXL |
any of those options are good, think of what has most stuff available for it, I would try ACU works alright and Army Issue has some stuff in and there are different sites with many accessories.

rothco brand anything is total CRAP
i recommend Propper brand ACU, and SDS, AITES, blackhawk, and tactical tailor for all your accessories, be warned every company has a different style of ACU although they are all military approved |
Ok thx guys.
Now i'm down with one last questions. For all you Quebec airsofters, which is better on the fields for cover? CADPAT? ACU? Multicam? |

It's Crye MC FABRIC. It's not the actual Crye manufactured cut. There's a big difference. Except for the majority of Asian knockoffs, most Crye, CADPAT, MARPAT, ACU, etc gear are cut from authentic FABRIC, but are not approved by any government, military, or contractor. By using the authentic fabric, they are authorized to attach tags of the material manufacturer to market, promote, and authenticate the origin of the fabric itself. Same goes for Cordura, D.R.I. Fit, Gore-Tex, Storm-Lite, etc etc etc. Technical fabric manufacturers are notorious for this - they may manufacture the material, but they didn't assemble the final product themselves. What you have is essentially a civvy cut of authentic fabric, but not manufactured by who you think you're getting it from. Is that confusing? lol. Quote:
Sorry to burst your bubble. |
Damn, Jeroon's making a killing today! ;)
But I'd say that if you went with the issued ACU or CADPAT, you won't be dissapointed. |
