GBB VFC AK

http://ninja.konstipation.com/vids/AFCak01.wmv Link to video.

he AFC custom blow back system is available as a conversion kit or a complete kit in a VFC AK with the fps adjustable to up to 400fps with .20g ammo. They’re currently working on a prototype that has a similar mechanism to be fitted in a systema with removable bolt system just like the real thing so those of you that are waiting for a higher performance armalite GBB, sit tight! There may be one coming that doesn’t require a gas tank to be carried with you during a skirmish.

More info can be found on this thread here: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forum...owtopic=113486

Now I've never heard of VFC before, being a newb and all, but this is a kickass gun! I wish I knew where to get one.

Anyone else know anything about it?

correct where I am wrong, please. Info taken from ArniesAirsoft, link :

Looks kinda like the Tanio Koba GBB rifles.

hattrick August 1st, 2007 14:26

gbb rifles will forever be useless due to the cooldown effect.

just add a battery that runs a small current through the metal components to keep them from cooling down to the point of forming frost.
not too big of a deal if you still get condensation(so the gun sweats, so what).

Mixing current and flameble gas does not sounds like a good idea to me. I agree with hattrick about it being useless. Not even speaking of it being supper expensive. GBB system should be instaled in guns that does not have room for gear box.

How ever gun can be used as base for OC-14(Groza)

Well then, why are there GBB full size glocks when the TM AEP is available?

Because gas blowback is fun, and much more realistic (being one of the main concepts of airsoft).

just keep the GBB rifles down to a burst fire rate (around 3-5 rounds each time) to avoid cooldown. Who would spray in real steel guns anyway when they are trying to hit a target? plus theres blowback in the GBB rifles thus throwing off your aim, therefore, it won't be very wise to hold down the trigger of the GBB rifle.

It might be more fun and realistic but not as practical as AEG/AEP. I'd choose an AEG over green/propane powered rifle any day. Maybe that's why I sold all my GBBs.
