Shooting Range

Hi there. Does anyone know if Airsoft guns are allowed on shooting ranges?

Thanks for the help ;)

OH my! He said in town, backyard, and airsoft in one sentince.

Sir put on your flame suit. Your about to get broiled.

Greylocks September 6th, 2007 23:44

It depends on the range. Some have allowed them in the past. Others... will never happen.

If that is your plan, I'd be sure to ask the local range's owner first.

But that's like bringing a cat to a dog park, anyway.

I'd pay money to see that. It would be like a Warner Brothers cartoon.

If you really want the Port Coquitlam gun club allows "air guns" at family nights maybe try emailing them? but why not goto airsoft games there are many in your area.

I'd be pretty scared with you on the range, no matter what you're armed with considering you're confused by something as simple as Canada Post deliveries.

I fail to see how this relate to shooting a gun. I was surprise the post makes me go to them to pick something up. Lived a long time in the US and if a failed attempt to deliver something occurs.

#1 They come back in the afternoon. If that failed again.

#2 They come back the next day. If that fails.

#3 They try again.

When we went on vacation, we would tell the post and they would hold on our packages until we came back. But again this is Canada and i was astonish that i had to go get the package myself. Am i lazy? Far from it, it was just different than what i was use to.

If you were being sarcastic: lol
If you were being serious: Better hide now cuz i'm coming after yah :D

I'd doubt they'd let you on the shooting range althought I wish they would :(

Greylocks September 9th, 2007 06:49

*sigh*

Since many here seem to never have even set foot on a real gun range, here's the scoop: Go Ask First.

Then if it's ok, follow their rules to the letter. Bring ear protection on top of eye protection that IS ballistically rated. All you will be able to shoot at will be paper targets, but others will be using live rounds.

That is why your ears and eyes must be protected.

Also use a locked/secured transport container.

Most places require that you be over 18, no exceptions on that one. Do your research guys.

I've used my airsoft guns at my club more than once. Like Greylocks said.. ask first
