Mag g36 mags?

Mag seems to have the cheapest deal with 2 opaque mags (100rd each) for $20. Are they any good? How do they fit in the CA G36?

I personally have purchased 2 of these mags. Very inexpensive, and I have had no problems with them whatsoever. I.e. No mag feeding issues or problems with staying in

I have a CA36k and I use them exclusively. I've had zero misfeed, and the quality is reasonable for the price you pay. To me, they're the best alternative to TMs. The fit isn't perfect though. They're a bit loose compared to a TM lo. You also don't get that nice fat "Click" when you slam a mag in. But that last issue is related to the gun, not the mag.

In my CA36 I found them a bitch to get in. No solid click and a very, very tight fight. More than once I've dropped a mag because I think it's locked in the reciever and it isn't. Giving them a good smack doesn't always work either, as a good smack causes the other mag to piss away half it's ammo if you have two of them linked. I use mostly CA mags (only $5 more) which fit and feed fine, and one King Arms mag, which fits tight but has no other issues.

The King Arms with fake bullets was my first choice, but they are not in stock anywhere online (Canada).

A&A has the CA with fake bullets, but they are $35 each. A bit too much for me right now.

ASCA was the only one that stocked CA mags ofr $25 each. I e-mailed Jugglez a while back and he can get the KA mags (where I got mine), but he doesn't stock them. Usually takes 3-4 weeks to get them from him.

I think thats a bit strange that those mags don't fit properly into the receiver. I have a CA36C and there are no issues whatsoever. For the mag capacity/price ratio I don't think you can find a better deal than drum mags

It struck me as odd too, until I compared the top of the MAG mags to the classic army ones. They're shapped different.

Ha ha ha ha ha, oh jeez...back when I first got my TM G36C, the only place I could find that actually had the TM std. mags In Stock was xtreme-tactics. Bought four of 'em for $65 a piece...that's almost $300 with the tax and shipping! But hey, I needed them right away, and I got them the day after I placed the Order. I know he has a number of different kinds of G36 mags for various prices, so maybe send Gord an email and find out.

that last sentence was misphrased. Aside from getting a drum mag, those Mag mags are the best deal. And to be honest paying more for the appearance of bullets is a waste of money

agreed

...but they look so cool! Actually, I probably wouldn't have bothered if the gun came with a plain black mag, but since it comes with one of those sexy kinds, I had to get a matching set.

Qlong September 11th, 2007 17:11

hey by the way, when will asca be open again?

Omi-san September 12th, 2007 17:51

I decided to get the King Arms 5 x G36 mags (95rd) box for $50.
