MP5k / PDW mods !
 

I just got my MP5k and i was wondering what kind of good upgrades i should invest in....

for sure im getting a metal body receiver, and looking into a tightbore barrel.

any other ideas ?

Mr Jon, i saw your MP5K already, i was going to copy it :D

its awesome !! i already have a silencer installed on it, but i dont like the loose end... the silencer is a little loose and hits the barrel...

and the stock is installed, same as yours. definatly like that scope on the first picture !!

i heard that Jugglez from airsoftparts.ca could hook me up with parts ? anywhere else that have upgrade parts for an mp5k ?

Slight thread jack here, but I've got a PDW i'm looking to work on this winter as well.. the first thing though is i'm wondering what type of silencer I can use or if I'll need an adapter... anyone know?

I'm looking at putting in a slightly longer inner barrel, so i'm looking for a silencer that's 100mm long at most. As far as I can tell though, there are no threads visible to screw one on. Are there QD's that fit on the flash hider?

Here's the mp5k I rigged up for my xgf, at the moment there's something wrong with it but I have that same A3 metal body and receiver on the way to my house right now so after I get that the gun is getting stripped and completely fixed up.

Note the gun 1st started off as a normal mp5k, but then I bought the PDW stock afterwards. Would of been a lot cheaper to just buy a mp5k pdw to start with.

Here's the list of stuff that went into it.

Stonger spring - shoots about 380 fps on .20's
after market hop-up rubber
Eg-1000 motor
9.6v batter (hidden inside the pdw stock)
metal bushings and what not
longer inner barrel, can't remember how long it really is.
and a silencer to hid that barrel.

here's the photos, thought I'm thinking I'm just going to sell that ris rail I have on it and just stick with the stock front end.

On a more serious, and less creepy note; MP5s are fucking sex. The lower the profile, the hawter. I can only imagine what they feel like in a cqc environment.
