TM Detonics .45
With A&A have the Tokyo Marui Detonics .45, in stock now who here is going to have one under the tree for XMAS.
Already ordered mine.
Did you extra mags for it as well or are you getting them from an overseas retailer. I was looking at Den which also has wood grips along with extra mags.
I'd be using the tm 1911 mags for the high cap.
I've already held one

lucky sob
are you guys going to do a small review, perhaps?
Held one today @ A&A
It's nice.. buy REALLY freakin' plastic.. |
It doesn't have any trait of guns I go for, so it would be really biased for me to write a review lol

Oh I love the 1911, I just don't like the sub-compact 1911 that the detonics seems to be lol
I like it, the size would be a convenience since I don't need much ammo. At our fields I cant use my G3 in CQB(350FPS or less) so I transion to a GBB. I read that is shoots 250FPS on 134. I would just be curious to know what it shoots on propane.

Well I got mine today and so far I am impressed. Its only slightly small in length and height over my KSC G19. The performance of the gun is as people have already stated else where, very nice krisp and clean blow back. Right out of the box it shoots fairly accurate. The gun on propane gets about 1 full mag and than about 8-9 decent shots before running out. Saw a pic today of a TM 5.1 metal slide installed on this gun, though there was a small gap still looked good. Hopefully within the next month or so the aftermarket parts will be plentiful.

I personally think it's worth way too much. Just because it's new doesn't mean it has to costs more than a full frame 1911.
Waiting on that metal frame, cant wait.
