Getting my 1st airsoft GUN

Hey guys this is my first post any way I am going to get my first airsoft gun for actual matches( if I can find a good place close) and as an Xmas present for my self and I just have a few questions.

1. so THIS is the gun I want to get so can any one recommend any accessories that are essential?

2. This web site is based in the us so what are the chances of my gun being seized by customs?

3.Is it Legal for me to "Import" this gun?

4 ^If not are there any good Canadian sites to Buy an M16a4 like that one or an L85a2 with scope?

Thanks guys for helping me out

1 JG isn't that good. You are taking a chance.
2 High chances.
3 Very illegal.
4 A&A and 007 both located all the way up.

Edit: Remember, you NEED to be 18 years old to buy and play Airsoft in Canada.

Odds your gun will make it here from the US, fairly low.

Recommended websites for in Canada buying.

Have you used a JG or Echo1 and had problems with them?

Not trying to attack you, just that I have owned 2 and know a few others who use them without any problems at all.

It is illegal for you to import that. If you attempt it will be seized and you will more likely than not be blacklisted. Also get age verified (yes I know I need to but its coming, just need time) Other than that there is a list of Canadian retailers at the top of the page. Check out the FAQ, while I hide...I think I hear the footsteps of Greylocks...

1:its ok, expect to pay double and then some
2: 99% chance of getting seized
3:no absolutly not.

how old are you?

Just out of curiosity, why did you choose this moment to ask the question? We've had quite a few people log on tonight with starter questions. I'm trying to understand the trend.

Yup, it has been a very busy day of spoon feeding.

TokyoSeven December 16th, 2007 23:02

Im sorry could you clarify that, I was not able to understand.

SHaKaL December 16th, 2007 23:03

Maybe its the snowstorm... peoples have to much time on their hands and decided '' yep.... today i will discover airsoft, browse the internet and bug peoples with questions that has been asked a thousand time''...

Anyway thats my theory

Gunk December 16th, 2007 23:04

I think he's asking if he can buY online...

And yes you can, though I believe you need to register on the site. And ordering over the internet is the only way to aquire Airsoft guns... other than face to face deals with another player, as far as I'm aware.

Greylocks December 17th, 2007 06:22

You can buy anything you want from anywhere you want BUT...

If from outside Canada, forget it. It will be taken and destroyed by Customs.
If you are not 18+ and can prove it, Illegal.

All of this is already written down. As many already told you, please go read.
