Upgrade compatibility question: L96
 

I have a Both L96 and I'm upgrading. I know the PSS96 Zero Trigger is compatible and I'm picking that up soon hopefully.

I have the possibility of getting a Deep Fire 500mm SS Tight bore 6.04mm barrel for my L96... but I don't have any hop-up upgrades yet.

I WANT to get the PDI Type 96 hop up, which I know is compatible.

My question is this: Does anyone know if the Deep Fire SS will work with either the stock hop up in the gun or with the PDI hop up?
I HAVE done my research, looked around and asked a few people that I thought might know, only to have a lot of shrugging shoulders.
Sadly, nothing came up in the search for this forum either.

Any ideas?

If this gun is an exact clone of a Maruzen APS L96, to accept any tight-bores meant for AEG's you'd need the PDI hop-up. Stock L96 barrels have specialized notches and grooves.
