Well, I noticed I had a problem with the reload on my secondary, so when I opened it up, and the breech pin holding this round like object in place when cocked, was broken off. Not sure why it was made of plastic...

I was just wondering, what would be the best way to reattach or fabricate a new pin?

Well, My older brothers Tokyo Marui MP5 is broken. Being the hard head he is, he would never look for help. Heres the problem, It shoots about 3-5 BBs at a time, and it falls infront of you. I've never heard of a "COLT M2001" and your description of the problem makes as much sense.
