Who uses their plastic bodys in games.

i was just wondering who still uses their plastic bodys on their guns for play or do you guys just get rid of them?

I haven't bothered getting metal bodies for my TM MP5s yet, both are pretty solid.

Im scared to see how much a hurricane body would be for my SIG. (220 in HK. ~300 + in country im thinking)

Endymion February 6th, 2008 11:14

No problems so far with the plastic S-System body on my TM.

G36's don't have metal bodies, but I don't care because the fiberglass is study as hell.

just wantted to see because i am making a parts gun now all i need is a stuiped motor cover lol. thats it i got everthing else. just wantted to see because my first gun is all metal this one is all metal expect for the body so yeah just seeing how long the m4 would stand up to a not rough abuse of couse.

Thats what I thought before I got a metal body on mine. But wow, it is like night and day. You don't realize how much your gun creaks and flexes until you go metal. :)

I go full metal on everything I own ( except my g36) once you go metal, you dont go back.

Brit ter February 6th, 2008 11:53

I have both metal and plastic and there isn,t to much of a difference

Never even used plastic... except GBB's, kinda worked out that way :)

First gun ICS, SR came with metal, same wit hthe VN/

Splashx February 6th, 2008 12:20

I will never return to plastic for my G3. Even if I don't have the metal sliding stock, it is a real improvement in feeling, and weight!

Yea. The TM one is ABS plastic, the CA one is what CA calls "glass fiber" which, I assume, is a type of fiberglass. It's not ABS or polycarb.

Goodl2ussian February 6th, 2008 12:41

all my M4s from now get metal bodies.
its sturdier and pins dont go flying out randomly.

Doesn't feel like fiberglass to me. Maybe it's just some type of plastic with glass fibers throughout it. I know, picky, just never considered it to be fiberglass in the real context.

But hey, you like it, that's the main thing.
