well this is a bit of a noob question and i know it comes down to personal preference but i thought i would ask just so i dont regret it later or some shit like that but anyway here we go

im in the market for a new m4 i have 400 bucks and i know its not much to work with but i have been offered two rifles and im having some trouble deciding the first (the one i think im going to go for) is an older tm sr-16 m4 for 350 i was told it was bought in 94 was lightly gamed through out 4 years then was put away for 3 years brought out for a game and then put away agen it comes with 2 mags 130% spring and a battery

the other is a (dont know brand) M4 R.A.S. for 400 it comes with foregrip and 2 mags, painted 2 tone (tan), 3 point sling, case, battery . It is upgraded with a systema gear box and a metal receiver and a few other cosmetics the upgrades where done buy someone named bo who apparently has been in the airsoft world for some time and is well known at daves surplus

i have extra battery's 2 chargers and a few extra mags

so tell me what u guys think

who's selling you the guns, are they on this forum?
also a rail system is very helpful as well as shit hot.

no there not on any forum that i know of and they both have rail systems

I'd seriously considering getting age verified if I were you. There are a couple M4 packages in your price range kicking around in the sales forum.

im planing on it but as you know the age verifiers have more than just airsoft in there life so i have to wait for one in my aria to come online so i can talk to them

I got in contact with my verifier and was verified by then end of the next week, that's working around both mine and his schedules. It doesn't really take that long or is that much of a hassle.

Put away for 4 years? Better hope to god the bolt was fully decocked that whole time, otherwise your 130% spring will shoot more like a 50% spring, and those don't even exist!

i must have emailed all the reps in my location like 10 times each!!!!!!! and still no respond.but i cant complain they have lives to:D but then agen if they don't respond there not doing what there supposed to do..

Verifying takes a while, my info was sent in on like the 12th of december, still no word on my verification.

at least u got to meet with somebody i am still waiting to hear back from my email!!!:banghead:

that was one of the many questions i asked when i was talking to the guy plus im going to change the spring to a 120 if i get that rifle

it doesn't take long to get verified, if it takes more than 2-3 weeks after you met your area rep then they forgot about you.

That sounds like a great way to get you name an picture in the papers.

im not stupid enough to do try and bring a whole pistol across now parts thats a different story
