well, i have been waiting for almost 3 months and still.. i have not been verified...... i have spoken with 4 admins and still.. NOTHING, i have sent my license, and all information required. and still.. NOTHING.. no offense, but for an organization that is trying to keep this sport to people over the age of 18 and regulate it etc... it sure is being done at an unbelievably unprofessional level..... come on guys.. pick it up.. this is starting to get ridiculous

contact the rep you met, he/she will is the only one who can get anything rolling for you. or met a new rep.

do keep in mind the verifiers are volunteers as are the admins they do have personal lives 3 months is a bit of a stretch of course but again its all volunteer there probly isnt much that can be done

Yeah well life can be a bitch unfortunatly...If you can't wait, change sport. Theirs no need for people crying on the forum about how it's long to get verifyed. We all know that it can take some time. Talk to the admins, explain the situation like a mature person and then maybe things will go on.

Your not the first guy that his having problem with the system. Thats life, live with it or leave.

First thing: The reps are doing this for ZERO pay. Give them some respect.

Second: If its been that long, contact the rep who you got verified with, and ask if they have submitted your information onto this website.

Third: Maybe there was a typo with your username. Verify that they have the correct info.

Wow. It sure would be funny if some government official that was considering helping the sport logged on and saw some post like this. You guys sure are helping the cause. Lets see now. This is a sport that basically can only be purchased now through used products on ASC or a friend that knows a friend. So to sum it up. There is a monopoly growing within ASC and pretty soon it’s going to be out of control. Seeing as how the admins have the right to choose and decide who is age verified etc. And there taking there sweet time on it. They’re controlling this monopoly. you guys should really watch what you say. Yes I do admit that I am being a bitch about this and I should stop whining. But. It’s kind of hard for you guys to have any right to say that to me when your all age verified. Id like to see this thread continue. Its definitely going to be a hot topic with unverified and verified users.

The whole group I play with isn't Verified...in fact, I think only one of them regularly visits this site. Hasn't impacted our activities at all. You make it sound like ASC Admins are secretly controlling all Airsoft importation within Canada like some Biker Chapter controlling Cocaine distribution.

thats not what i was saying at all. my point was the following.. u cant buy the guns ne more unless you know someone with the license or u find a used one. its almost impossible to find a used one outside of asc. what i was saying is that you pretty much have to be age verified in order to buy a gun ( i think thats a great idea and im not bashing the system ) i just think its a little unfair that peopel that are requireing a gun or want to get more involved have to wait up to 3 months to become verified in order to buy the gun. it should be more proffesional. thats all im saying.

I understand your point, but your point is invalid. Like I said, I'm not Verified and I've been playing for a while. There are places to get your guns legally without being Verified if you look. Only real advantage to being Verified is that you'll get some deals and a little more respect...well, deals anyway!

That's sadly true. Well, you can't exactly just go into a store, put cash on the counter, and get a gun. But you don't need to get the gun shipped in from across the country either. I myself plan on buying real guns later in life and don't expect much problems. Hell I could take the short trip to Hamilton and stop by at Al Simmons' for a desert eagle or a glock, or any of the other guns in their wide variety.
