I have one, they are a great gun if you spend a bit of money on them. Every bit as good as a TM for less than the price of a stock TM.

I reccommend the following. This is what I installed in mine and it's great.

-Metal Body.
-Real Wood Kit.
-Deepfire Hop Up Rubber.
-Element Bearing Spring Guide.
-Element 6mm Bearing Bushings.
-Element Silent Piston Head.
-Element Silent Cylinder head.
-King arms Hop Up chamer.
-Systema 6.04mm Tightbore Barrel.
-Systema Air Seal Nozzle.

heres a link to my thread for pictures and whatnot. http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=54260

A safe bet is the steel oil less bushings, as with high stress applications (upgraded spring), you're more likely to have a bearing bushing explode and send little bearings into your mechbox.

thx

jeeze why the hell do they even make those? i mean they sound like a great idea, but how often do they explode? it doesnt seem worth paying the extra bit for them. and id think theyd be designed for upgraded gearboxes with powerful springs and high torque motors and lipoly batteries. with combinations like that youd think bearing bushings would help your gearbox run smoother

To be honest... What the hell lol... That much changed you might aswell just buy all those parts Plus add on a gearbox case if your changing that much surly?

They make them because on the higher ROF guns with not ultra high fps, the gears run smoother allowing less friction and motor stress means you get overall extra speed.

Well put it this way My M15A4 SPC was bought in August 2007. Since then till 8 weeks ago in April time they lasted ok till then. However i too kit apart and found 1 bearing was on its last legs, half broken and a gear was slightly out of line and scratching the gearbox. The gun had fired over 80,000 bb's though.. What can i say.. I'm trigger happy. They are good and now i use Prometheus Bearings isntead of teh Stock CA ones. I'll just check the gun over every 70k+ and see how they are i guess. Besides if the CA's lasted 80k bb's i expect the prometheus ones to last a hell of alot longer!

Hope this helps!

Element is the cheapest solution for these upgrade. You should think about these others mark, i.e aa full tune up kit of HurricanE or Guarder, Prowin hop up and Prometheus 6.03 or PDI 6.01. Surely, these stuffs will be much more better than those of Element and Kingarms

Don't listen to Azriel strife...

No matter how much I've told him to stop being such an idiot and element parts will not preform the same... He succeeds at failing.

But other than that, this is a really old thread... let it die

Azriel_Strife October 19th, 2008 12:48

Amos is a purist (Just because it's element doesn't make it crap). These parts are cheap yes, but the bottom line is that the gun performs wonderfully, and they are all a great step up from the stock parts. I just gave him a cheap solution that works great, so the information provided was relevant, not all of us have wad's of cash to spend.

Amos, try doing something other than thinking you're right all the time. My solution worked, and worked well for me. Buying expensive parts definitely doesn't meant the gun is better. That's like saying my Rx-7 is slow just because it was 400 bucks when I bought it, then I installed the cheapest available parts to convert it to a ford 5.0 and now it waxes Porche, Chevelle, Ect Ect.

Anyway, hope I helped clear things up Airsoft Freak, If you have more to spend, by all means buy some more expensive parts, but I don't see anyone else offering you an upgrade list.
