?Rubber on Army R85A1 turning Orange?

Just wondering... Any of you guys that own Army R85A1's notice that after awhile the rubber butt turns orange.... Anyone know what the heck it is?
Or is the rubber rotting.....

Unstable dye... UV degradation... hallmarks of low quality

Yea, mine did it to. The AA L85 really isn't worth $500.

Yea, but some clones, such as JG, $350 is *acceptable* for a $90 clone, since they do actually work and perform well. $450-$500 for a $130 gun that is basically like rolling the dice on whether or not you get one that works is sketchy. If the QC out of Army was really good I wouldn't have had an issue with it -full metal working L85 for $450? Sure. But Army's QC is shit... kindof like early Classic Army guns.

Hahah, back on the trip in HK they were just shy of $100.
