Unable to post replies in sales/wanted threads.......

This is something a few others have found also, and when you click on the 'Post Reply' button (there is no box under to enter text), I get this message:

Obviously this is new (noticed it a month or so ago, and friends have found the same thing), but is it to encourage people to just PM for info in order to keep the threads clean, or is this a glitch?

Basically, there's no need to ever post in sales threads if you're not the original poster. It artificially bumps up threads, hence, the lockdown. It's saved the mods and admin a massive pile of work and I think it's working well in general. Any questions on products can be directed to the seller.
