The WE 1911A1

Ok so I am interested in purchasing my first sidearm...in this case a GBB and wanted to know how the WE compares to other brands like TM. Following that I am also VERY interested in modifications to the gun such as the sexy trigger and handgrip mods I see.

Could you guys give me reviews about this gun from first hand experience?
What do i need to get/do to use propane on it?
Could you also list links of where I can buy/view mods for this gun?

Thanks a ton guys

Grant

My WE 1911 is my baby. It's fantasitc. All metal build, hefty, and some really nice kickback.

I can't really fault it as it's my primary sidearm. The mags are a bit of an issue to breakage or leakage, and replacement parts are hard to come by.

Ok now is this because it is WE brand? And I am assuming the parts aren't interchangeable with other brands like TM?

There are a lot of existing threads on the WE1911 here. There are even more all over the internet. Google "WE1911 review" and you shall be rewarded.

Isn't your Kimber a 2011, Kos? Of course, KJW makes two 1911 anyways. One straight TM1911 clone and a modified TM1911 clone that takes both standard TM1911 mags and KJW-made CO2 version of the TM1911 mag.
