Aftermath Broxa evolution
i have a few questions about this gun. i have just got it and am trying to find way to slow down the FPS. i want to play in an indoor place but they wont let me cuz it shoots too fast can anybody tell me what i can do to lower the FPS down to indoor specifications? i know i can get a velocity reducer or new springs, but i need to know that reducer i can get and that size i need or if i can get a new spring i need to know that spring is in it and what spring i should get to lower the FPS.:banghead:

Search the forms for Illusions spring chart. It has most of the springs out on the market. After you find one you like order one then take our gun to a tech and have it swapped out.
Or buy a reducer that will net you with about 300fps in the end. |
Unless you're talking about your friend Steve's basement, you're too young for an "indoor" place, or any place for that matter...
|
The broxa doesn't shoot 400fps out of the box it's more closer to 370 ish. So it is around the muzzle velocity of the kraken.

on a side note, i know guys that use the kraken and are 18+ and have upgrades that would make some of the guns in the classifieds look cheap. ATAltona: Since you aint 18 either, how do you know what better guns are out there???:D |
i search 007 airsoft so when im 18 i have an idea of what to get
|
Im pretty sure 007 airsoft isn't selling right now cause of border issues or something like that?
Can someone clarify that for me? |
s90 spring will do the job. $10 off this site.

Shortcut,
Ken will be selling G&G's with clear lower receiver's with C8 markings shortly for a really, really good price(like 400-600). Clear lowers make them border friendly. Check em out in a sticky in the for sale section |
Modify s90 will safely drop it down under indoor levels. It's a non linear spring...so the tighter group of coils go at the back.
I have never used one...but here's what I've hear first hand from others. Velocity reducers will work. In semi-auto. They'll also work for the first couple of shots on full auto, but then the FPS goes right back up for the rest of the burst. So it's not a reliable, safe way to reduce the velocity of a rifle. |
