Ics sig 552...

Demo gun is out in Taiwan for testing....

http://www.arms-cool.net/forum/thread-22283-1-1.html

Stamped steel upper, with real rivets and whatnot, CNC lower, reinforced foregrip and stock. Functioning bolt-stop, removeable bolt lever, TM style gearbox, improved(simplified) takedown process....thats what the text on that post mentioned...

Note the color has changed and now looks more like RS and TM's grey color as opposed to the earlier black.

Edit: Pics Added

can't believe at the lack of response on this...I thought its pretty damn sweet with stamp steel reciever and all....

Crunchmeister October 24th, 2008 00:38

Well, for me, the fact that I can't read the info at the link you provided sort of discourages any meaningful comment other than saying it sounds good from your description.

Dracheous October 24th, 2008 10:00

+1 Crunch.

There are no images to even go on here Maniac, while the promise of a full metal unit off the shelf 552 is tantalizing, there is no info or images here to really cause the "tease" factor to twitch.

Sorry, my chinese is a little rusty...

Bahahahahahaha

Yea, If there were some pictures of the gun itself (apart from all those small sketeches) Id be a bit more interested.

SHÖCK October 24th, 2008 20:31

Wow, that sounds impressive, need pictures. Sig 552 was always one of my favorite weapons. It's a shame all of the TM clones were so plasticky.

Isn't ICS Taiwanese not Chinese? (Talking about language here, not nationalism, so any pro-Chinese people just go away.)

Taiwanese people speak Mandarin, and so does most of China. Cantonese is the other Chinese language. They both write using the same characters.

I didn't know that you can't see the pic if you didn't log in...my bad...

Added pics to first post...

Ah, okay, I didn't know Taiwanese wasn't a language, lol

Pics look good, I definitely would want one if I wasn't putting airsoft on the sidelines (not quitting, just not spending anything except field fees and ammo, make do with what I have.)

I think that I've found my love child.... When and where in Canada, and who do I have to sacrifice to the fickle gods to get one?

Ra-Tech in Taiwan have released couple videos of the ICS SIG 552, and they are selling it now for $ 430 USD.
Hopefully a retailer here will bring some of these in soon :D
