G&P has had RIS II compliant replica rail systems out for several years already (KAC RAS2).

This one is a Daniel Defense replica.

I believe Bleaches was referring to the M4A1 RIS II made by Daniel Defense.

yes what he said :P sorry dont know my AR parts very well. just wanted to share the good news for people that are considering buying real steel stuff and giving them a new option :D

I'll be picking this up. Either this or DD's lite version rail (I like how that one has the lower rails a little lower than normal).

For the purists out there, note that this one isn't to the same color as the SOPMOD II version that the military is now using.
