Is KJW the manufacturer of the licenced/w trades Sig Sauer P229??

Is KJW the manufacturer of the gun that is on Sig Sauer's website???
The P229, full metal, with trades, with case version If not, does anyone know who the manufacturer is? It does not say on the site, and my searches have come up fruitless. Can't get a reply from Sig either. Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is. There have been threads about this in the past.

Yup, I read the debates on TM or KJW as makers, and about the G&G slides. Just wanted to know if there was an any more definative answer? Hoping to hear if someone has had them side by side, and confirmed all heresay. Thanks Saint, I know you have been in lots of the discussion on em. I'll take that as a solid yes.

It is made by KJW.

I have the original KJW P226 with trades (stamped, not laser etched).

Recently I had an opportunity to hold both (the new & old) side by side. They are the exact same gun, except my old one with the stamped trades looks waaaaay better IMHO.

Otherwise they are identical.

Someone else has one of those too? Here I was thinking I was the only one. Nice.

I got the KJW one without trades. The gun shoots great and I am very pleased with it. The only negative was the feed lip broke after about 5 mags. took it off the mag, and crazy glued it, and now it is fine. I have put probably 20 mags through since, and it's holding fine. Shoots good with .20s .25s and .28s The hop kept all these weights of BBs on a nice, flat trajectory for very good range. The .28s flew very good, with good range. ;) It is only 27g. lighter than the real steel. And it has very good recoil kick to it. It also feels great in the hand, with great balance. When drawn on target, sighting is
easy, it almost aims itself. Front sight levels perfectly on quick targeting. I would love a real steel one of these. I found out Sig makes one in .22LR, I may have to get my restricted PAL this winter.

How much would it cost to get one in .22LR? I was looking into getting a 1911 variant in 9mm to save on ammo cost. But a sig would be sweet as well.

I don't know ... yet. hahaha but Ive spent my budget for now hahaha But it will probably not be cheap. But it will be nice. You do targets???? or planning on.

I have my restricted PAL, just need to get back to work so I can afford to buy a pistol.
