A little confused with my Kraken.
 

Hey guys. Im kind of confused with this kraken. Its brand new, and just took it out of the box. One problem.

The supplied 1200mah battery does NOT fit correctly into the stock.

When I take the back off of the stock, I can pull out my + and - wires AND the fuse. (But heres the problem. On the pictures in the manual, it shows that the wire isnt supposed to be pulled out of the gun that much. It shows the fuse inside of the stock, and the + and - wires, outside of the stock waiting to be attached.)

Now, when I hook up the battery and put it into the stock, the battery fits but theres no room for the wires. :S Wtf?

Care to help me?

Grab the connector block and rotate it 180 degrees. The twist will draw the wires close to the battery and the butt plate will slide on.

Jeez, the pictures in the book are confusing :).

Now my fuse is pressed right up against the inside of the back of stock, but its shut. So Im good. I appreciate this. :D:D:D

The fuse itself should be halfway up the stock, not at the plate.

There should be an inch or so of wire and the connector hanging out of the end of the stock. Connect the battery, pull some wire out (so you can flip the battery around), then slide the battery bottom-first into the stock at the same time sliding the fuse wire back in beside it. When the battery stops, rotate the connector block 180 degrees to take up the slack and slide the plate closed.

The problem is, theres way more than an inch of wire hanging out. The fuse for some reason isnt in the middle of the stock. Infact its part of the wire thats hanging out. I cant push it back in, it work let me. There seems to be no room, or the wire getting stuck.

Also, I put in about 15 BBs into the clip, just to see how well this thing fires on semi, but for some reason, it wouldnt fire unless I was holding the gun upside down. Is that because I didnt put enough BBs into the clip?

The thing with hi cap magazines is that you need to have enough BBs in it to press up in order to feed. And when you're "empty", that means there's essentially about 20 BBs left in the mag. Fill it up properly and it will work fine.

Awesome, Thanks. Also, Im freaked out a little. I just noticed, the black wire that connects to the battery has a small "cut" in it. I can see the "silver" part of the wire. And I didnt do this. I didnt cut it, or squeeze it against anything. Should I put some electrical tape against it?

Sounds like it's messed up. You should return it to the retailer.

The retailer happens to be about 1 hour away, and I know I cant get a ride back there. I THINK if I unscrew the stock, I SHOULD be able to fit the fuse in correctly. Yet, having the fuse aginst the back of the stock shouldnt be a problem, due to I'm able to shut the stock "door" on the back of the stock. And, there is some slack (a little bit) so I dont think Im putting alot of pressure on the wires.

I taped up the battery. In a month or two, I think I'm going to purchase a new battery with longer battery life and WAY better charger. Due to this one takes 12 hours to charge. D: Gah, just my luck eh?

Have any of you ever had experiences like this?

The little things bother me, in life. Like the "faux" barrel cleaner thats under the barrel on the gun, wiggles a tiny bit. Not alot, just enough to make me think "shouldnt this be connected better?".

No different than a real one.

Thanks crunch. All I need to do is take off the stock, theres 3 screws. I'll watch the video anyway to learn some info on the gun.

Haha, also. Do you mean that all AKs (and Krakens) have a wiggly barrel cleaner? :P

(Also, I noticed that the fire selecter switch scratches the plastic a TINY bit, whenever I move it up or down. Why is that? Not to mention it requires a little force to get off of safety but I think thats because the manufacturer didnt want the gun being able to switch off of safety very easily incase the gun accidentally went off and injured someone)

It's a "G" gun didn't you know? You're supposed to fire it sideways/upsidedown. :D

I wish there were guns like that though.... (I think last game I went to (with Team SWAT) one of the SWAT members had a "G scope", the reticule was kinda angled sideways... now that was gangster :D ).
