corner shot

i was talking to a little kid the other day and he wanted to know about cornershots, turrets, and everything over like $3000 airsoft wise

but it got me wondering if anyone has heard of a airsoft cornershot either personal custom, website custom, or even on the day hell frezzes over, production line.

(god this sounds so stupid now that im asking it)

Nope. No point to the corner shot in airsoft, I think. Keep in mind that the individuals using them quite often so not need to pay to repair it, should say the screen gets shot out.

There is one guy here that own a real one and used it in a CQB game.

Other than that, it's pretty rare to see this kind of thing in airsoft. And I don't think there are copies made, since it would be expensive to copy.

There's one person that used a 'corner shot' sight at Flag Raiders. Regular AEG with a mirrored sight to see down the barrel while behind a wall

lol, but that isn't a corner shot, that's just a gun with a couple mirrors ;)

Almost as useful as this, in my opinion, haha :D

Or the version from WWII, the MP44

Proud Tactical made the Corner Engage Device which is what you guys are talking about that attaches to your standard aimpoint RDS. These however are out of production now.

The one m102404 has is probably better for the actual acquisition of target as I find with the smaller one on the aimpoint that by the time you've lazed a room with this site you're pretty much spotted and have had your hand shot or your gun. For airsoft I'd say a barrel mounted mirror would be the best option you can get it down low or up high to check around a wall, get a location on that person and only risk a gun hit, given that you have a secondary you now know there is a person and where he's hiding which gives you an edge, that helps even out the fact that he's on the defense with most likely better cover and angles if he's set himself up properly. That all said I can't help but giggle when I see the large mirrors off of a truck or trailer mounted to a shotgun as some SWAT forces in the state use, effective perhaps but it still gets a giggle.

I have a SWAT mirror pole... It's a convex mirror at the tip of an extandable pole. Made it myself. It's usefull, but it always get shot and I don't want to break it. So it's reserved for those private CQB scenario.

Nah, I'm talking about the ones you see with the big square rear view ones, those are the ones that really get the giggle/chuckles out.

The Convex mirror SHOULD be safe against being hit though? Mean with 350 or lower FPS of course.

one of the guys on my team has the same type of RDS as dracheous posted, i hate him for it :p
you always know its him shooting you, its usless indoors, but when he mounts it to his m16 outdoors, my god its deadly, in our outdoor games, gun hits dont count, so he is very hard to hit...

The mirror is made out of plastic, so is the black shell on the back. It's fragile anough to crack when shot. I got lucky so far, only small marks.

The MirrorSight looks useful, but I can't find a price or anyone that sells it.

Which one? This is why you're not allowed to be offline on MSN remember?
