M1 Thompson

Its a little more than frustrating when i have enough money to purchase a Tokyo Mauri Thompson from 007Airsoft, and now they dont sell them to civilians....ive searched and searched alot for any other canadian site that has any thompsons, but i cant find any....:(:banghead:......Does anyone know where i can find a M1 Thompson in canada? i wanted to add to my paratrooper collection and would really appreciate any help...thanks

Unfortunetly that is the path 007 has taken. Aquiring airsoft in Canada these days is no easy feat if your attempting to do it on your own. However you are in luck, this website has a classifieds buy and sell area and I believe there maybe a Thompson or two in there for sale at this time. I believe there maybe an ASC retailer that sells a Thompson by another company as well. All that you require to access this websites classifieds is to go through the age verifacation process. Once this is complete you will be granted acess to this websites buy and sell section and you will also learn of the Canadian retailers who legally bring in airsoft.

For more information in regards to getting age verified, please see here:

Lol. I know how you feel. I'm trying to get my hands on a Thompson, MP40 and STG44. Getting verified on Saturday, hopefully won't be long after that that it shows on the site so I can check things out further.

Styrak December 11th, 2008 22:43

The first two are easy enough to acquire, but good luck getting an airsoft STG44!

I just read somewhere else on here that an airsoft STG44 sells for around $1000 US, so no, I'm not made of money to spend that much. The WWII that I want are strictly for collecting. I'll be using modern for the games.

Drunk_Albertan December 12th, 2008 00:14

Oh c'mon now, everyone and their dog has a modern kit going! Be origional and bring out those Heer/Waffen tools of destruction! ALBERTA NEEDS MORE WW2'ers!!! Besides, the chicks digit!(not entirely too sure about that last comment there, I just tell myself that;)

JoeFriday December 12th, 2008 00:32

I agree Drunk.... we need more Alberta WW2. The ladies love it indeed. You will get some if you do the WW2 kit.... WEll maybe not but I have two words.... Come on...

QuincyXavier December 12th, 2008 19:58

C'mon man, as gorgeous as the Thompson, MP40, and STG 44 are, they won't allow you to keep them in a case. They'll call out to you in the night. "I must be fielded, I have to draw a bead, all must fear me!" So do the right thing and be WWII. Your guns will thank you. Plus, the chicks love it... Maybe...

Drunk_Albertan December 12th, 2008 21:51

There's no maybe about it, I just got my liner for my M42(43?) and wore it down to the mall, and I had to beat the girlys off with a stick!!

Yorkie December 13th, 2008 08:49

I'm sure your wife will love reading that! ;)

Seriously though guys, don't buy them to hang on a wall, throw some BB's with 'em! The clone (CYMA) Thompsons work well, Styrak (SaskAirsoft) had some coming in, check out his thread.

Cheers,

Yorkie

I'm sure when I do get them (if I do), they'll get used a little. I have a friend that has an acreage(spelling?) that I can take them out there and shoot them off.

I was actually planning on joining the ontario ww2 airsoft re-enactors. See theres two weapons id prefer to use on the field...either the M1A1 Thompson by Tokyo Mauri (CMYA Thompsons not bad either :p) or the Marushin M1 Carbine.....actually now i kinda want the carbine because of the sick para stock conversion....

I really need to get age verified....:banghead:but its going to have to wait till after christmas because im too busy...and im sure the age verifiers are too :(

Drunk_Albertan December 14th, 2008 21:24

I like Marushin except for 1 drawback, individual shell loading. Which means scrounging around the field for every round you let off. Also, I don't think there are many for sale in Canada nor are they easy to get due to our fantastic importation laws.

Not all of them use shells. But yes, very hard to find and expensive to bring in.

You're looking at ~$800-$1000 for an Marushin M1 Carbine
