Star MK43 mod0 Bore up kit, what fits and what hits?

It seems like a M14 bore up would do the job, have anyone tried it before?
Besides that, the gearbox seams to be a bit longer than any other MG type gearbox (or converted ver II gearbox) anyone first hand experience with it?
