Just thought this might catch some one's eye.
A magazine for your magazines... Too bad they don't make one for the P90.
*sigh* http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2008/08/a_...ficiently.html |
That's kinda cool but a little bulky for only three mags.
|
I have a home made version that I wear on my back. Its made out of a Pantac hydro carrier backpack combo. Few plastic inserts here and there, a little cut and stitch here and there and wala! A magazine that holds magazines that carries 12 x Armalite mags.
Never had to use it though. Im heavy enough on the field as is carrying 18 mags. I think I would die from carting around 30. |

This thing IMHO is useless. It takes up precious real estate and only gives you access to 3 mags whilst being pretty fucking bulky. You could probably fit double your ammo load in the same space. I can Reload my M4 from conventional mag pouches in 2-3 second intervals from anywhere on my PC. This thing is just bling and utterly useless to the average shooter on the job.

i could see this beeing usefull for a kit containg a mp5 since mags are much narrower equaling more mag mag capacity
id be nice for a drop leg |
+1 uselessness
less gearfad, moar drill |
It's just another solution looking for a problem.

Their reload and bulk obsession has one natural outcome: Ares Shrike + wrap-around/wearable belt ammo storage.
|
Getting a Mag clamp or just taping your mags is even faster when you have to reload.
