Does anyone know how infrcation points works?
sorry,,spell wrong on the tittle.

You fuck up, you get them, they expire after a while.
Get too many and the autoban kicks in.

You do bad things on the forums, mods give you points.
Get enough and you get temp banned. Get enough again and you get temp banned again. I think the third or fourth ban is a perma-ban.

well, i just bumped up my post too fast couple times by accident.
so.. i will expire eventually?

It should tell you when it/they expire in your User CP.

Eat your vegetables, excersise every day and don't smoke. You shouldn't expire too quickly, unless you get hit by a bus or something.

Not all points expire, but some do. Visit your profile by clicking on your username and view your infractions for more info.

Some are permanent and don't expire.

Oh, and you also get infraction points for asking about infraction points.

I still would like to know what is the amount needed for the autoban to kick in, though I've been a good boy and only got dinged by bumping a thread a while back a day early (not enough coffee lol).

I think I got up to five once.

The system has definitely improved from the old days.

I know it has to be more then five. :(

Let me try giving you several infractions until we hit the next level, then we'll know...

My two points will take a year to come off... I honetly didnt know a bump would give them to me. :(
