New air gun owner here

Hi all. I just bought my first air gun. A Walther CP99 Compact from Le Baron in Markham Ontario.

I went in looking for an HK, but they were out and if Walther is good enough for James Bond (lol) then its good enough for me.

Cant wait to take er for a test run.

you cant play with that on a field. that is a .177 cal airgun and shoots way to hot for anygame. not to mention that it shoots pellets not BBs. you can only use airsoft at these games.

Is funny, the first force-on-force games I played when I was a teen were with pellet and BBs guns, rifles and pistols, pellets at 495fps and no eye protection............. ah, those were the days of being young and stupid! Hehe, I remember a 150ft shot with my Crosman .357 right behind the ear of a buddy that was running across the road after shooting at me........... sigh........ those were the days! And the Roman candle fights at close range........ mmmmmmmmm!

LMFAO! I'd say seriously, but I was being serious, we did that. But ya, that type of gun isn't allowed at any airsoft games and will get you booted PDQ if you try to use it.

Congrats on your new purchase.

May I suggest you register at http://www.airgunforum.ca/forums/ as this is an airsoft forum and we dont not focus on airguns/bbguns.

Oh good memories. I still have a scar on my back from a shot that burnt through my hoody.

I think you're right. Thanks.
