FN Sniper SCAR

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...977preview.jpg

My buddy plan to make this gun but since all my gun broken so he just sold it dirt cheap to me and keep as backup gun. He also plan to make the sniper scar like this picture. I'm so damn lucky, he already got the long barrel for it and I got the Harris bipod. I plan to keep this beast to be counter sniper.

Here is the list for what I have right now :

-VFC SCAR-L Dark Earth
-415 mm sniper barrel
-Harris Bipod
-VN mag ( should I get the magpull 20 round short mag )

Since I'm very low on budget so I need a few thing ask you guy to recommend, the suppressor and scope that won't cost me a fortune.

so, what do you all think about this project?

I believe the real steel sniper version of the scar has a longer upper receiver (like in the picture). Wouldn't a VFC scar-l have the shorter upper receiver? it'll look a little different from the picture but I am sure it will look just as sexy.

For the short AAC type suppressors go here,http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/index.php , might be able to get the long one from VFC too if that's what you're really after.

Yes, there is a real steel sniper scar that has long receiver and VFC has prototype of that longer receiver scar too but not sure when it's come out.

The one in the picture is just a regular SCAR-L that has long barrel.

I will post up the complete picture. For the suppressor, I'm going to use my King Arms light weight suppressor since I'm low on the budget now also for the scope, I might just cheap to use my 3 x 9 x 40 mm tasco scope and get a new mount.

If you plan on actually seeing something trough your scope, I suggest you avoid the Tasco scopes and get a Bushnell. They are about the same price, around 100$ but their quality is much better. I had a Tasco scope and I tried to game it once, I ended up leaving the whole rifle in the car since I could not see shit in the scope.

You can only fit a 455mm barrel in there? If you want it to be a counter sniper, I'd say at least a M16 length (510mm) or PSG length (590mm).

He still can't hit the broad side of a barn. lol

Just got the barrel from buddy and put it and took some picture to show you guy. Enjoy ! :) , Please excuse for the poor picture since I don't have 2000 $ camera, just only 150 $ camera.

I'd loose the white light from a sniper/counter sniper/DM rifle.

Thanks , Do you need a longer inner barrel or it would be okay with only the longer outer ?

It would sort of defeat the purpose of a longer outer without the longer inner.
