Shim Job?
 

Hey everyone, I'm still thinking about getting a tf7, but I heard that before you try upgrade it in any way, you should give its gearbox a shim job. I don't know what this means, someone want to clarify it?

Shims help the gears from making too much contact to the gearbox walls, or the other gears it connects to. It just makes the gearbox much more durable and increases its lifetime.

So, basically you clean all the grease out of the gearbox and tighten everything?

everything in this little gearbox is sooooo small, when i opened mine i think i didnt even see a shim?!
