buying from WGC

ive been looking at the A&K m249 PARA that they have for sale there and was wondering if i can ship it to canada, and if so should i ship it by land or air? so it does not get confiscated at a border check.

It will get confiscated, no matter if you ship it by land(sea) or air. It's not like CBSA doesn't check one and not the other. Please forget about importing an airsoft gun yourself.

if its going to get confiscated why is it on the list for international retailers right under the "ads by Google" space?

Because they sell things OTHER than guns.

A bag of BBs or a spring is not on Canada Custom's list of prohibited items

As Illusion stated, the International retailers listed sell a lot more than just guns. We just can't order guns (and a few other select items) from them because they're prohibited from importation into Canada. Otherwise, they have an awesome selection of parts, accessories, gear, etc.

Read the links that KNIVESZ posted. It's a lot of info, but it will answer pretty much any question you may have about airsoft in Canada.
