AK scope mounting options for GG AK-104
Well I am looking to mount either my ACOG RDS or different option: http://www.brotherprice.com/ebayphot...dotscopePP.jpg
To do this I've come down with two options. The first here replaces the front metal sight (which wouldn't be too hard to do), but I am a bit worried that with the RDS that far forward it might not work as well for target acqusition. http://img.redwolfairsoft.com/upload...KA-MB-13_L.jpg The second is another option I found on Redwolf. It is supposedly for G&G and TM AK series guns but upon close inspection of my gun there are no holes to mount my bracket, so would that mean I have to drill holes or am I missing something here? http://img.redwolfairsoft.com/upload...G-03-085-L.jpg Thanks ahead of time. |
this one is marui compatible http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/ea-light-...-for-ak47.html
it uses the two front screws that hold the front end! i think the second one you mentionned you have to drill your receiver to install it! |
This is just my advice, but don't get anything non-Russian for a Russian made gun, you'll just look like a fool. If you have no holes for a side bracket, drill one and use a tap set to make threads, then throw on a side rail and mount whatever you'd like, if not, don't use a scope or a RDS.

Should mention my load out is PMC opposed to aligned national. |
it mounts just in front of the magwell

PMC or no, you'll still make kalashnikov cry. Save up and get a kobra site at the very least before you decide to butcher it :S
|
yes dont butcher AKs they look so good plain. plus in airsoft its not like you actually need optics, you cant shoot far enough for them to be of any use anyways

Go with lemegacool's advice mate! since you aren't getting help with the nerd's crying over whats real and what it looks like.

Me myself im thinking on placing this rail on the top cover.
