generic mp5 question
 

I have a galaxy mp5 ras. I was shopping on uncompany and thought "Jeez it would be nice to have a front sling mount" so I saw this while i was shopping http://www.uncompany.com/pageproduct...sp?prodid=3572
. I bought it as it looked like the right item for my gun and heck it was just an extra 10$. Now I have it and its about 1/2 an inch too short to be where it is supposed to be... Now Ive looked at all the sites that i know of and cannot find a mp5K front sling clip anyone know where I can get one? or know what i can use to make one?

I guess i learned my lesson just because my gun is not a K does not mean that it must be like other mp5's lol in fact it compares to the K in every way except for the sliding stock and the ras. :banghead:

Also I noticed that they should put measurements up for this sorta thing as all these clips look alike!!!

Manni, your gun IS an MP5K. Or at least a version of it.

wow its actually in stock! probable cause the price lol! I decided to cheap out for now went to candian tire and bought a roof mount lol they look exactly the same there just chrome and it works like a charm! Now Ill just grab my krylon and spray it for now. this should work like a charm! I'll probable still buy one if the right one ever comes in stock for a decent price. thanx for your help dao.
Course im figuring out that the gun is mostly an mp5k. my inner barrel length is a different length than the mp5k and some parts for mp5k's dont seem to fit, guess this is what happens when you go too cheap lol! so i just gotta figure out what fits best. DISCLAIMER: I might be wrong or i might be recieving incorrect parts. who knows...

To be sure you can check if it's a V2 or V3 mechbox. If it's a V3 it's a K or variant (Which I think would be the case).
