cleaning metal barrel & slide?
 

Hello all, newbie question= just wondering what I should use to clean the metal slide and barrel on my G23, I don't want to mess up the paint..should a dry soft cloth due the job or can i use something else with it?

soft cloth like a microfiber rag and water is all you need.

the best is silicone cloth

Why don't you just use a towel or cloth of some sort?
