what is the most reliable gun ???

You should look into getting Age Verified if your looking to join into airsoft them you can check it out yourself. That being said, it's all in opinion. Some peoples TM's last for 3 years, some for 1. Some JG's last 2-3 years, some a few months. Some guns like Krakens can be bought and not work at all, it all depends if you get a Lemon (Defected gun), the way you treat your guns, and what kind of stress you put your gun through internally.

Bang on. There is not a "most reliable gun". There are companies which produce more reputable guns, which are easier to maintain. But no one gun is guaranteed to not fail before XXXXX # of rounds fired, or X # of times dropped onto concrete.

If you never open and upgrade it, Tokyo Marui make the most durable AEGs. However, their weak performance to me is the reason they're so reliable. IMO, Even most cheap Chinese clones would last just as long with such a weak spring.

TM guns, if left stock, are extremely reliable.

I've inspected some close to 10 years old with over 50,000 rounds through em and they're just starting to show wear.

The downside is most have plastic bodies, lower stock power, and a heftier pricetag right off the bat.

Skladfin May 10th, 2009 17:38

TM

SuperCriollo May 10th, 2009 17:39

and what about the GBB guns, are they more reliable than an AEG ??
thanks

Generally, no.

Donster May 10th, 2009 17:50

there is a difference between reliability and durability. CA is the most durable gun. TM is the most reliable.

Cheesevillage May 10th, 2009 17:57

TM m14?

ThunderCactus May 10th, 2009 17:57

I wouldn't call ANY gas pistol reliable, or any gas gun for that matter, too sensitive to temperature changes!
But the most reliable AEG's on the market are stock Tokyo Marui guns. They've been known to last more than 3 seasons without breaking. By the end of the first or second season they may need some tuning up, but they still work!

a GBB is like paintball guns, doesnt it?
i thought that a GBB was like a tippmann that its almost Undestructible.

Paintball guns don't need to make everything fit into a gun shape and size. GBB rifles will last no where near as long as an AEG and be very problematic ALWAYS, just like GBB hand guns. Nobody should get a GBB M4 unless they already have an AEG.

WTF??? Crossman springers??? You sir have no idea what airsoft really is, I wouldn't pay more than $5 for a crossman.
