USP threaded barrel swap?

Ok so I have a USP with a metal slide but no threaded outer barrel. I want to get a threaded one obviously with the intention of getting a long inner barrel and a silencer. I took it apart the other day (to replace the piss poor pot metal trigger) and noticed that all of the necessary parts to swap the slide, outer and inner barrels and other bits were all housed snuggly within the slide. Having noticed how seemingly easy it was to take off my slide, is it that easy to have a separate slide ready with the threaded outer and sliencer and other crucial parts all ready inside it making it just a matter of sliding on the whole assembly? Or does it get more complicated than that? Thanks

If you have everything necessary in the replacement slide then yes, it's that easy.

But you don't need a whole new slide, just swap outer barrels.

well I wouldn't mind having a slide with .45 trades on it lol.
