Hi There! JUst wondering where i should go to get verified....I live in winnipeg and i work right across xtreme tactics(Wondering if somebody can verified me from there)...Thanks

Did you look at the list of verifiers at all? If you do you can see all your local AVers. I believe Amos is an AVer, but take a look at the list to be sure. Also look for the "Age Verifier" tag under a posters name, and look at the location.

Does it worry anyone else that we are verifing people to buy guns and represent our sport when they cant even figure this out? there is even a sticky at the top of the page. no flames just concern.

Maybe there should be some form of competency test conducted whenever anyone joins ASC. That will help weed out alot of the unwanteds.

I don't think they're dumb, but just lazy.

Competency tests isn't just for knowledge, its for general aptitude which includes willingness to find answers for oneself before begging to be spoonfed at every chance.

you mean do something like they have in the UK? I personaly would not mind that.

I just hope that our Avers have the brains to say *this guy is over 18 but... he really would not make a good representitive to airsoft*

Each and every time you guys take a gun out of the house your taking the rep of this sport into your own hands. One person can single handedly ruin it.

And the fact that he could not be bothered to scroll down 2 more inches to see the Sticky for Aving means that he probably has not read the rest of the info on the site. Who knows he may try to play in the backyard, or in public... because he never read that it was not a good idea. Instead he went and got Aved, someone sold him a gun, and now a cat is missing an eye and the media is having a field day.....

Unfortunately theres no way to avoid idiots 100%. Theres always some sneaky little bugger that seems to weasel his way in and ruin everything for everyone involved. Much like condoms.

Just think, if more people wore condoms there would not be as many of these dumb people around :P.

Mine were more of a general statement that encompassed everyone who proves to not be worth their weight in BBs. If that just happens to include the OP then that is not my fault.....:rolleyes:

There is an infraction the staff can give for not doing a search, which I have given on several occasions, yes, even to Newbies in the Newbie Tank.

IMO, the original poster should have gotten one for this as they have been registered since Aug 2008 (9 months). There is no excuse for this kind of laziness or complacency.
