P-Mag feeding problems.
Has anyone had feeding issues with this mag?
Mine shoots a couple before it dry fires. Most of the time I can't empty a full mag. Once empty the spring doesn't even return to the top-it usually stops a half inch down the mag. |
What type of Pmag are you using?

I used some Electrical Tape and shimmed the back of the mags with it to fix the feeding a few rounds and then dry firing problem...

Ah ok. I had the same problem with my king arms mags but did not think it was the same thing. I will try to shave a bit off the feed lip.
Thanks. |

The feed lip on the king arm mag is seems way to short to shave any off with out the bbs shooting out. The spring on my p-mag however still does not extend all the way to the top. I don't know what the name for it is, but the plastic piece that sits on the top of the spring still sits about half inch below the feed lip. Guess I just got a bad mag..

there may be a rough spot in the BB channel thats catching on the follower. |
Which PMAG is it? Green Labal or the Genuine 120rd?
If it stops in the middle of your PMAG, than it's your BBs causing a BB jam. What brand are they? Give them a smack when it gets stuck. If it continues, switch BBs or fill the PMAG with less BBs. |
I have the STAR PMAGs, got em from ASP. About 6 of the 10 had feeding issues. Dropped a drop of silicone lube down there, filled them up like 3 or 4 times and used a screwdriver the push the bb follower up and down and now they all work AMAZINGLY. Had to do this to my King Arms 120RDs too
