Land warrior, beleive it or not??!!!!!!
 

I was shocked and can't close my mouth when I got this news. YES, Land warrior is being cloned!! For airsoft ? yes and no. Yes, it is a toy system. HOwever it has the potential.

For those who don't know about Land warrior, you may check out wikipedia:

The china clone Land warrior ( airsoft version ) features:

• GPS receiver
• Mini camera( zoomable )
• Wireless reciever( To communicate with the control station )
• LED display( mounted on helmet)

The system also provides a control station which connects to a computer and is able to communicate with each unit via wireless network( 1KM range ). For a team, only one control station is required.

All the devices are shock-proof.

Damn I want one for myself. It seems I need to setup a team or join a team!!

The prototype should be ready fairly soon in June. Once the factory has firm orders then it will go to production.So it may be ready before border war. The price is not final yet, will be less than CAD1000( current exchange rate ) each unit

That's expensive for such unnecessary piece of gear, but seems worth it more than an NVG. I see a game where each squad leader would have one, with the team commander having the "control station".

I repeat, useless. But most of what we've got is useless anyways... One point I'm not sure of, however, is if it would be useful due to the quality of the aerial photography.

Good lord... Is there nothing they won't clone?
I'd rather see functional Melios, PLGR, and Sincgars clones then land warrior.

I'm interested. Putting a kit together with this is very tempting.
