21 Gun Salute to a Teammate. Friend and CF Reservist

http://www.torontosun.com/news/toron...5/31/shane.jpghttp://media.thestar.topscms.com/ima...7feab8b2f.jpeg

Saturday, the body of a friend of mine Shane Fair (ShaneF) was found in lake Ontario. He had been missing since May 16th and was a friend and teammate. My condolences go out to Shane's Family.

I just wanted to share a memorable moment I have of Shane.

On hosting a game in Wasaga Beach, 5 of our Sentinels were packed in two vehicles. Kiron in the leading vehicle and Shane was with me in the second vehicle. We had walkies to talk between cars and Shane wanted an orange if my memory was right. Since we were falling late we didnt want to stop the car, so Kiron (Lawless) dropped the orange out the window of the car while shane in the second car, opened the door while still moving and hung out the side to snatch up the orange that kiron dropped for him. He missed the orange, but it was a funny moment.

Ill miss your Hick impressions and your humour.

Farewell Shane, You will be missed.

Signed,
DarkAngel

The irony is that he loved zombie games and made several threads about hosting one of them.

Im in talks and will host one in memory of Shane using the rules that he proposed earlier.

Rest in peace.

I hope there was no foul play involved in his passing. And if there was, I hope he gave the sons of bitches a good fight.

Damn, he was young too... so sad.
