I'm looking for a starter Mp5 and metal body seems to be recommended through the forums and through members (I'll get verified done monday, so please don't yell at me to get verified).

I'm just wondering if anyone purchased from EastCoastairsoft.com? They seem to promise successful delivery from USA to Canada with 1% chance failure .... They are selling the ICS MP5A5 for only 290$ USD (battery and charger not included but i can buy from a accessory store in canada)

Wait for classifieds. Importation of a full black gun is prohibited. I'm sure their 1% failure, is for parts and accessories.

i'm sorry to oppose you but i checked theyre forums and it seems canadians are not having problems with receiving theyre guns ... Maybe they un-assemble the guns and ship them in multiple shippings?

The 1% failure thing was typo on their part, They meant 1% success.

They probably delete any posts on THEIR forum that says otherwise.

Maybe some people have got guns from them, but it is illegal. Non-clear airsoft guns cannot make their way over the border if they are checked. The occasional package might make its way through without being checked, but don't think that that means yours will. And if (or rather, when) it gets checked, caught, and seized, then you will be blacklisted. Everything shipped to you from then on will be opened at the border, and most likely if you ever try and go across the border, they will search you/your car.

It is NOT worth the gamble. It is illegal. We do not condone nor recommend it in any way. It will be a large waste of your time and money. Just wait until you get AV'd.

The owner of that site doesn't seem to be a fan of ASC, he says this forum is not a reputable source. So of course, he will likely tell you he can ship anything you want - including guns. It faults to you when problems arise at customs.

its probably best just to use the classifieds as there is a high possibility of seizures of any prohibited item, like metal recievers

If they are so sure your stuff will not get seized then they should offer a money back gaurantee if it does get seized. That would solve the problem!

American is worth more. They'll gladly take 28c instead of 25c. But in America, they don't want 23c instead of 25c.
