what I need to make my HK416 10.5" version to 14.5" version?

Hi Guys,

I might need your help to extend my HK416 from 10.5" to 14.5".

I got my JG HK416 last week. Since it is short version (10.5"), I am thinking of make it to 14.5" version. Can I use combo#1: 363mm inner barrel + a 110 mm silencer to archieve it? or I should use combo#2 a 14.5" outer barrel instead of silencer?

I'll get my parts from Ehobbyasia.com:

Combo #1:

or

Combo #2:

Anything else do I need to get?

Thanks for your reply.

I would say the choice is entirely up to you. The extended barrel option would allow you more options for flash hiders and what not down the road. If you can source a one piece metal outer barrel it will also add some extra strength to the sturdiness of your front end.

Don't forget, you would have to find the silencer, or one like in somewhere in country.

You can also just buy a small barrel extension (Element makes them) instead of getting a whole new outer barrel.

They may not "like them" but I order them by the dozen and the CSBA can lick my balls. There is nothing illigal about them.

All in Canada already, excellent supplier of Canadian parts. They sell inner barrels too, you might want to have a look.

Thats true, but the point is, it will probably get seized, and even though you will get it eventually, it might take several months, and at that point, its probably worth the extra 10 bucks to just buy it at airsoftparts.ca
