FRS and GMRS? wtf?

Which one is normally used in games?

And what's the difference?

frs is family radio service. short transmition range of about 3ish KM. gmrs is general mobile (or media) radio service. you need a license if it's over a half watt. gmrs 1/2 watt walkies will usually have a range of 8+ KM.

use what you want but gmrs usually has better frequency security and you'll get less weak trans. static. so i'd go gmrs.

also, some gmrs radios have up to 5 watt power signal
Styrak and I tested our through the city, and got about 6 miles, so when we play at PBP in regina, we are never out of range

My Motorola GMRS leaked over to a Law Enforcement band (dunno which) at FlagRaiders, and we had a guy asking for our location. Oops.

Nothing switching to a new channel didn't fix...

Is it possible to get blue tooth for the radios?
